The Group

Image Communication and Understanding (ICU) consists of dynamic group of professors, lecturers, postdocs, PhD students, project and administrative staff, and guests. The group is primarily located in B, C, and D floors of ETF building, Sternwartstrasse 7. The ICU group is led by Prof. Luc Van Gool.

Dr. Dengxin Dai as external lecturer conducts research in the direction of vision for autonomous driving and image quality mapping, respectively.

Besides, members in ICU group conduct research primarily in object tracking, large scale 3D scene understanding, image and video understanding, and mobile based 3D reconstruction.
